OUR HEALING OFFERINGS
REPAIR & RECOVERY THROUGH THE COMPREHENSIVE RESOURCE MODEL®
The foundation of our work is the Comprehensive Resource Model (CRM)®, a trauma treatment modality that is designed for optimal safety, ease and depth of permanent healing. While this restorative system is used for traditionally diagnosed mental health disorders and symptoms, including severe PTSD and dissociation, its special niche and power resides in its ability to access, heal and transform trauma though a collaboration with horses and equine-assisted therapy.
CRM® EQUUS
Combining CRM® With the Healing Presence of Horses
Transformational change and growth that is permanent requires that the healing and/or coaching work be done from a fully embodied state; meaning the client is fully aware and present in their body during the process for the positive gains to be maintained.
Many of us live disconnected from our bodies and our conscious awareness, resulting in the inability to get to the deepest source of the problem in the mind-body-spirit complex. Consequently, the work cannot be done in the deep brain as needed and positive healing effects are temporary.
Studies have demonstrated that both CRM® and equine therapy, used separately, provide the neurobiological, neurochemical and emotional safety that promotes full embodiment and therefore access to, and transformation of, the deepest origins and roots of blocks, obstacles and wounds that impede our highest potential as human beings and the global systems that support abundance, stability and joy. When horses and CRM® are combined as CRM® EQUUS, these two powerful sources of multi-faceted resources allow for a level of embodiment and transformation that is amplified beyond using them separately.

Programs provided through the CRM® Foundation are positioned to:
-
Provide “Pay what you can” residential retreats and outpatient CRM®EQUUS treatment for individuals, families and couples who suffer from the effects of severe and complex PTSD, generational trauma, military trauma and first responder employment
-
Provide “pay what you can” CRM® training and intensive retreats for clinicians who work in marginalized/low-income communities in the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania area
-
Promote access and training for clinicians of color, indigenous ancestry and those within the LGBTQI2SA+ community, nationally and internationally
FUTURE PROGRAMS
The Ancient Even-ings Program is our maiden voyage, and we look forward to offering other tailored programs to our communities. Below are some future programs that we are excited to offer and are currently under development. Subscribe to our newsletter or contact us to stay up to date on our latest offerings.
Re-connecting with YOU
This program is for those who seek to learn and Re-connect with who they truly are – their essential, true, Core Self. This offering will support individuals in Re-storing a sense of wholeness, Self-love, and personal empowerment.
Pre- & Post-Natal Healing & Harmony
This program is for parents, adoptive parents and foster parents who are looking to foster and strengthen a secure and healthy attachment to their children (ages of 0 - 5 years old). If applicable, we have the capacity and program designed to offer specific explorations and solutions for mitigating the effects of lengthy time on tech devices, without requiring an actual decrease in time on devices.
Equine Reciprocity & Right Relationship
An educational and experiential program for equestrians and horse trainers that promote the "higher" perspective that horses are sovereign, sentient beings in service to us as healers.
BE-ing with Horses Adult Camp
Long weekend or week-long outdoor camping and co-creative activities with horses.
Rasha's Even-ings
This program is in honor of one our horses, Rasha. You can learn more about her story here.
It is our desire to transform a specific facet of equine generational trauma; one which is tightly woven within most horse racing lineages from the inception of racing, hundreds if not thousands of years ago. The accepted and expected practice of taking foals away from their mothers' way too young, for monetary gain and competition, has created harm in the mind-body-spirit for both mother and foal, with the likelihood of these deep interferences being inherited by successive generations. This Program is designed to give Rasha the choice and support to be a mother, and to raise her baby through a natural weaning timeline, without any monetary value or profit placed on her foals' future with humans. This kind of "interruption" of the pattern of attachment disruption in the ancestral lines of racehorses can be transmuted and healed across many branches, albeit through even one or two individual horses. The science of epigenetics, particularly the work of Rachel Yehuda, supports the research in which healing human generational trauma creates a positive healing effect many generations back as well as forward through the lives of descendants.
